Planning Your First Visit – FAQs

What time do I need to arrive?

We have plenty of seating and parking so recommend arriving at least 5 minutes prior to service or the event you are attending.

What do I wear?

You are welcome here just as you are. We have some in a coat and tie and others in jeans and t-shirts. All are welcome. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it is the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

How long do your services last?

The average Sunday morning service lasts 60 to 90 minutes.

Do you have children’s classes?

Absolutely!  Click here for more info or please feel free to contact Jae Englebert, (253) 392-4816 for details.

What style of music is played?

We use a mix from modern worship songs to traditional hymns.

Is there wheelchair access?

We care about the needs of wheelchair bound individuals.  We have wheelchair access at the back of our building and handicap parking available.  Please feel free to drive right up to the asphalt walkway (by the back entrance) to get in and our of your vehicle.  We have handicap restroom stalls in the men’s and women’s restroom near the same entrance.

What version of the Bible do you use?

Formal Bible reading from the pulpit is done from a variety of different translations. Pastor Steve Ripp regularly preaches out of the NKJV, but often quotes from other versions as well.

Do I have to be a member to take communion?

You do not need to be a member of our local congregation or denomination to take communion. You just need to be a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, honestly seeking to live for Him in your daily life.
