Caravan

Caravan Logo

Caravan meets on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the church fellowship hall.

Each week the children use an active, hands-on learning approach to help them discover, develop, experience, and grow while earning badges.  Covering the same topics that a traditional scouting program covers, kids also learn how the skills apply to God’s plan for our lives through scripture and application.

Caravan teaches children the Articles of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene and helps elementary-age children become more like Jesus by encouraging their growth in the four specific areas mentioned in Luke 2:52: mental (wisdom), physical (stature), spiritual (favor with God), and social (favor with men).

Caravan is a time for children to learn how they can grow in all areas of their lives. It also helps children develop an appreciation for and understanding of Nazarene heritage and beliefs.

WHAT IS CARAVAN?

Caravan is a scouting, or kids’ club, type of program that meets on Wednesday night.  The group is under the direction of one or more adult leaders who are called “guides.”
