Day Two
Wednesday, June 11, 2003
We learned today the Brazilians and Bonney Lake Americans have no language barrier. The use of body language and gestures is going well. A Portuguese and English cross reference dictionary helps laughs and smiles go along way with the work field. We have enjoyed the days work, breaking bread and the good food.

Pastor Ripp: I sure wish that my wife and children were here with me…….. Cindy would feel right at home with the way people drive, but better for her; stop signs, no worry just go; speed limit, they don’t follow it.

Holes were filled with mortar on the outside of the building. Pastor’s desk was sanded, filled and stained. The stairway was plastered. Prep work was completed for the sanctuary to be painted tomorrow.
